It's Monday, so that must mean that it's time for SuperPhillip Central to present our favorite video game music to the masses. Like every week, we have five unique themes from video games of all shapes, sizes and popularity. This week's edition consists of music from Animal Crossing: New Leaf, Mario Kart: Super Circuit and Atelier Totori. After listening to this week's selection of music, check out our VGM Database for every VGM ever mentioned.
v436. Animal Crossing: New Leaf (3DS) - 10AM
Animal Crossing: New Leaf hasn't just become a game to play every now and then with the staff at SuperPhillip Central. Instead, it has become an addiction. There's always something to do or something to see in our various towns. Each hour in the game has its own theme song, and this track is obviously the one that plays during the 10AM hour.
v437. Mario Kart: Super Circuit (GBA) - Sky Garden
Sky Garden is one of our favorite tracks (both musically and course-wise) in Mario Kart: Super Circuit for the Game Boy Advance. The track (both musically and course-wise) would return in Mario Kart DS as part of the first sixteen courses to be featured as retro tracks.
v438. Battalion Wars (GCN) - Main Theme
The bombastic brass brings a militant feel to this strong main theme from Battalion Wars for the Nintendo GameCube. A sequel to the game would be released on the Nintendo Wii, and it was just a fun and entertaining as its predecessor. Nintendo can make even war lighthearted.
v439. Atelier Totori: The Adventurer of Arland (PS3, PSV) - Following the Footsteps
This game's soundtrack and theme was actually recommended to us by one of the SuperPhillip Central community faithful, Matt S. from Digitally Downloaded, an affiliate of ours. It has a lovely Asian flair to it. If you have a theme you'd like to recommend to us for a future edition of SuperPhillip Central's Favorite VGM, leave us a comment or email.
v440. Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo's Dungeon (Wii) - Door Crawl
A beautiful ending song for the criminally underrated and overlooked Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo's Dungeon on Wii, Door Crawl has a moving melody, a wonderful vocalist belting out the tune, and a terrific rhythm to it. It's the perfect treat after saving the citizens of Losttime.
