Monster Hunter 4 (3DS) Nintendo Direct Trailer

One of Japan's most anticipated games is Monster Hunter 4, a Nintendo 3DS exclusive that is getting a special commemorative bundle for its September 14 release date (Japan-only for now). Take a look at some of the epic encounters hunters will be facing when the game releases.

Monster Hunter 4 (3DS) TGS 2012 Trailer

The Tokyo Game Show is in full swing, and with it comes new trailers. Monster Hunter 4 has been given such treatment, and the anticipation for the game is at a fever pitch in Japan. This trailer shows off the beautiful landscapes, vistas, and of course monsters the game contains. The hunt will be on in 2013.

Monster Hunter 4 (3DS) New Screens

A batch of new screens for the 2013 release of Monster Hunter 4 have been unveiled. That's not all either. Some details regarding the village system (there's now more than one village to visit, for instance) and the free camera have been detailed as well. For now, enjoy these three screens showing off some of the visual prowess of Monster Hunter 4.

Monster Hunter 4 (3DS) Logo & New Trailer

My first and only brush with the Monster Hunter franchise was on the Wii with Monster Hunter Tri, and the only reason I tried it was because I wanted a new Wii game and wanted to support a massive third-party effort on the platform. That said, Monster Hunter Tri hooked me on the series, even though I was a passable player at best. Monster Hunter 4 expands the series to new heights with new mechanics and gorgeous graphics. Expect Monster Hunter 4 to roar onto the Nintendo 3DS in Japan in 2013. It's heads or tails whether the rest of the world gets to join the hunt.

Nintendo 3DS Press Conference Game-A-Palooza

Tonight at 10PM CST in Japan was an important press conference for Nintendo regarding their Nintendo 3DS which has been in a state of limbo as of late. Well, big announcements and a menagerie of games were the call of presentation, and it delivered big time. From a demonstration and new footage of games like The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword (Wii), The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Anniversary Edition (DSiWare and eShop), Mario Kart 7 (3DS), Super Mario 3D Land (3DS), Paper Mario (3DS), Animal Crossing (3DS), Monster Hunter Tri-G (3DS) and more to new game announcements like Monster Hunter 4 (3DS), Mario Tennis (3DS), Fire Emblem (3DS), among others.
