Nintendo has been noticeably quiet these past couple weeks, but that silence is now over with this new, in-depth look at Paper Mario: The Origami King, unfolding next month on the Nintendo Switch. Sackboy: A Big Adventure (PS5) Announcement Trailer

Sackboy is back, and he's in a big adventure. Reminding me greatly of Super Mario 3D World (and that's only a good thing, mind you), play solo or with up to three other friends in sprawling 3D obstacle courses filled with enemies, hazards, and good times alike. Sackboy: A Big Adventure is developed by Sumo Digital, who worked on LittleBigPlanet 3, among plenty of other projects.

Gran Turismo 7 (PS5) Announcement Trailer

A new PlayStation is on the horizon, so of course that means that Sony's venerable Gran Turismo series races its way onto the PlayStation 5 with this announcement trailer. Go for a ride with the ultimate driving simulator, bringing with it the feel of my favorite Gran Turismo game to date, Gran Turismo 4. I look forward to getting my hands behind the virtual wheel once more on gorgeous tracks of the jaw-dropping variety with Gran Turismo 7.

Kena: Bridge of Spirits (PS5) Announcement Trailer

We've spent a lot of time with franchises making a welcome return to the limelight now on PlayStation 5, but let's take a quick detour to a new IP that seems like a wondrous, magical mix between The Legend of Zelda and Pikmin. (Though you're free to correct me if that's not the feeling you get from this trailer.) It's Kena: Bridge of Spirits and it's a PS5 console exclusive. Horizon Forbidden West (PS5) Announcement Trailer

Aloy is back and with a vengeance in Horizon Forbidden West, the sequel to 2017's excellent Horizon Zero Dawn. The improvement in the visual quality of Forbidden West when compared to Zero Dawn is immediate upon watching this trailer, and I can't wait to join Aloy on yet another journey crafted by Guerrilla Games.
