Review Round-Up - September 2012

One of Nintendo's greatest game compendiums
was tailor-made for Kirby!
September was my first full month back to college, so the amount of reviews dwindled heavily compared to summer months. I am looking to change this for October with various digital downloadable games, so look forward to that. That notwithstanding, let us see what games were reviewed last month. We started off with something that wasn't even a game -- it was an application, Swapnote. The fun of gaining new stationery, drawing and writing to friends, and communicating gave the program a 7.0. Then we had a duo of game collections rounding off September, both of which earned the top score of the month (9.0), both giving these anniversary collections the Game of the Month honors. We celebrated Kirby's 20th with the Wii's Kirby's Dream Collection: Special Edition, and we then racked up lots of bolts for Ratchet and Clank's tenth with Ratchet & Clank Collection on the PlayStation 3. Despite the dearth of reviews, the steady stream of interesting articles continued to pour in. I hope you didn't mind the lack of new reviews. I will do my best to change this for October!

All scores are out of 10.
