Metroid Prime 4 (NS) E3 2017 Announcement Teaser Trailer

There was much bickering among Metroid fans about how the series was dead after Metroid: Other M and the Nintendo 3DS spin-off Federation Force. Now, we can hopefully have less pessimism from that fan base and more happiness as Metroid Prime 4 has officially been announced for the Nintendo Switch. It's in development, and other than that, the big news is that Nintendo is working on the game in-house rather than Retro Studios (what ARE they up to, gamers feverishly wonder). No release period has been given for Metroid Prime 4, but the announcement is relief enough for many Nintendo fans and Switch console owners.
